What could be better than getting gravy on your hashbrowns at breakfast? Getting gravy on your hashbrowns in a train car diner.

A friend recommended this place to us and I was all over it.

The car itself (car No. 1787) was built in 1906 by Barney-Smith as an observation car. Northern Pacific Railroad bought it in 1909 and used it as the private car for the president of the railroad until 1931.

The car served as a Diner in Seattle for 60 years before being moved to Spokane.
