AUGUST 30, 2009

I was driving to Calgary to play golf with friends. I decided to leave very early and take the scenic route. The plan was to stop along the way to take pictures of whatever I could find.

As I was driving and the sun started to rise, the fog patches were getting thicker the further south and west I travelled.

Just as the sun was clearing the horizon, I pulled off near Winfield and walked out into this field to get this layered type of shot. Despite the low fog, you could see for quite a distance.

More than 2 years later, I was looking at the image and noticed what may be a deer - just above the first line of trees, right in the middle.
